Dear church family:
Due to the recent spike in the number of Coronavirus cases confirmed in Knox and Licking Counties, and for the continued health and safety of our church family and friends, we feel it prudent to call to everyone’s attention a couple of important reminders.
First and foremost, if you are experiencing ANY of the Coronavirus symptoms (loss of taste and/or smell, dry cough, sinus congestion, fever, headache, body aches, shortness of breath, or sore throat) PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ATTENDING our worship gatherings and other programming, including meetings.
If you contract COVID-19, please let us know so we can pray for you and minister to your needs and those of your family. James 5 instructs, “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him. . . the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.”
One of our members and a couple of folks who have been attending our worship gatherings have now tested positive for Coronavirus. Others within our church have close family members who have tested positive, therefore, out of consideration for the health and wellbeing of others, we strongly urge everyone to PLEASE wear a facemask while you are in our facility, particularly as you are up and about mingling with others.
We are truly better together! Please continue checking up on each other. Remember to reach out to our shut-ins by dropping them a line or giving them a phone call to encourage them.
Let’s all continue to be flexible, stick together, pray continually, and with the Lord’s grace, we’ll soon get through this.
Sincerely,
Mike Allen, elder
Garland Fleming, elder
